Regarding the Organization of the 2025 Thailand International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition (CIAME Thailand)

To All Relevant Stakeholders,

To facilitate the effective expansion of agricultural machinery enterprises into the Thai market, and with the strong support of the Ministry of Agriculture of Thailand and relevant Chinese authorities, the China Agricultural Machinery Distribution Association, China Association of Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers, and China Agricultural Mechanization Association, in collaboration with the Thai Agricultural Machinery and Engineering Association, will jointly host the inaugural 2025 Thailand International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition (CIAME Thailand) in Bangkok, Thailand. Concurrent thematic supporting events will also be organized during the exhibition. Preliminary booth registration is now open, and all enterprises are cordially invited to inquire and register.

I. Overview of the Thai Market

Situated at the strategic hub of ASEAN, Thailand boasts significant geographical advantages, a stable socio-political environment, high policy transparency, and a liberalized trade regime. As ASEAN’ s second-largest economy, Thailand maintains an open and inclusive business ecosystem. Agriculture, a cornerstone of its national economy, occupies approximately 46% of the country’s land area. Key agricultural products include sugarcane, rice, cassava, oil palm fruit, and maize, underscoring the sector’s critical role in driving economic growth and technological modernization.

In 2023, Thailand's agricultural machinery imports totaled approximately USD 7.16 billion, of which imports from China amounted to USD 1.331 billion, indicating substantial untapped market potential. To address persistent agricultural labor shortages, the Thai government has been advancing its "Large-Scale Farm Consolidation Initiative", which promotes land consolidation and mechanized cultivation to enhance productivity. This policy is expected to drive sustained growth in Thailand's demand for agricultural machinery.

As fellow members of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), both China and Thailand benefit from streamlined trade and investment facilitation under the agreement. Additionally, the two nations have ratified key bilateral frameworks, including:

Memorandum of Cooperation on the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC)

Notably, the EEC's development of regional logistics hubs is poised to significantly enhance efficiency in agricultural machinery trade, leveraging Thailand's strategic position as ASEAN's connectivity nexus.

III. Scope of Exhibits

1) Power and Transport Machinery Equipment: Tractors, agricultural transport vehicles, internal combustion engines, farmland construction machinery, etc.

2) Planting and Tillage Machinery: Fertilizer applicators, rice transplanters, seeders, plows, harrows, subsoilers, rotary tillers, etc.

3) Field Management Machinery: Cultivators, sprayers, pruning machinery, etc.

4) Harvesting and Post-Harvest Processing Machinery: Combine harvesters, sugarcane harvesters, turners, grain drying equipment, agricultural product dryers, etc.

5) Orchard Machinery: Specialized rotary tillers for orchards, sprayers, fruit picking and transportation equipment, fruit grading and preservation equipment, etc.

6) Livestock Machinery: Animal feed mixers, egg cleaning and sorting machines, poultry incubators and brooders, poultry farming machinery, dairy processing machinery, etc.

7) Agricultural Machinery Spare Parts: Tractor parts, harvesting machinery parts, transmission components, hydraulic parts, tools and blades, gears, steel rims and tires, tracks, bearings, and couplings, etc.

8) Other Machinery: Agricultural aircraft (drones), storage equipment, packaging machinery, compressors, seed cleaning machines, fieldwork machinery, horticultural machinery, etc.

IV. Exhibition Fees

Notes: An additional 10% fee will be charged for double-sided booths, and 15% for triple-sided booths.

The Thailand International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition will recruit exhibitors and organize visitors globally:

1. Collaborating with agricultural machinery associations in Europe, the United States, Japan, South Korea, Turkey, and other countries to organize international enterprises to exhibit.
